This song speaks deeply about the concept of using mind over matter. It is a reminder that we all need to keep on moving forward even when times are looking rough. People tend to let their surroundings get the best of them and start to lose all motivation. This song helps bring to light that motivation should never leave ones mind in the pursuit of their hopes and/or dreams.

Hip hop is an art. Art is to be marveled and revered years beyond its creation. Chekk Famous is a true artist who is creating lyrical masterpieces. In 2008 on the westside of Chicago, Chekk Famous and his team created a work of art that has touched the minds and souls of many. That work of art was the start of one of the worlds most recognized DJ collectives, Blok Club DJ's. That work of art is called "Masterpiece Theatre".
This classic album features an array of content that covers the board from turn up, party tracks like "Sweep it Up" to interpersonal tunes like "Thinking of You" where Mr. Famous takes a minute to speak to his daughter. Chekk goes from track to track displaying a level of lyricism matched by few. On tracks like "Ain't Impressed" Chekk separates himself from the competition with flames like "This is not your average jibber jab and rhetoric." The album feature incredible production from Slot A, Byron 'Bang' Walker, and Jaywan Beats provides a little more distance from Chekk Famous and the rest of the crowd. If you want to know how to "turn poetry into profit", I suggest you grab a copy of Masterpiece Theatre, listen and learn.
Ginger Bread Man is back at it with another single, “What The Business Is” in which he goes all in while the transitions accelerate towards a haunting instrumental that’s complimented by deafening beats. From a stylistic perspective, the track has balance that’s inspired by modern trap sounds such as “SurfClub”, amngst other tracks that are melodically driven, while he takes the listener into introspection mode. Tank Nitti also comes through as his skill set shines stupendously.
I must acknowledge that I enjoyed the vocal tone and structure, part of what I think makes Ginger Bread Man a dynamic artist. At some point, I felt like he’s somewhat transcendent talented. Couple that with the production which pulsates with futuristic pop, electronic and trap elements blended into a perfect work of art. The track leaves me with a taste of a seasoned artist who’s about to make an articulation of rap star’s lifestyle.
April 9, 2018 (Seattle, Washington) - Seattle rapper, Huey P continues to drop new music for his listeners. Today, Huey P drops a new visual, “Not Taday”, which is directed by Steve Arcenio.
Northwest artist "Huey P" is a great young talent raised in the Tacoma/Seattle of Washington State. Huey immersed himself in the sights and sounds of the emerald city. A storyteller to his very core, Huey began rhyming as a way to tell the world about his experiences as a young man striving to succeed. After teaming up with Tjyolo Ent., Huey began to hone his skills on the local concert circuit opening up for many well-known artists that came through the Washington State area as well as headlining shows of his own. Catching the eye of "DJ VIP" of Nipsey Hussles "All Money In" Family, Huey recorded an EP with the Los Angeles Dj titled "Did You Get The Message" The project was met with enthusiasm from the hip hop fans. Eager to continue the momentum , Huey recorded a Mixtape with DJ Drama and enlisted cameo appearances from "Ty Dolla $ign", Tory Lanez, Cassidy and J. Winans.
“Somehow impact and influence the culture in such a way that it influences our younger generation to keep influencing the right things; positive things, positive messages and glorify the right things.”
Not Today video opens up with Huey P passing his lady a stack of money while she counts it in disbelief. “We just tryin’ make it so that we can take it out the country.” Huey zips through traffic in his red Benz with wifey, stunting on anyone who didn’t believe in his goals and making an everlasting impression to his lady. “I do what I want and you can accompany me”. All of the work he has been putting into his career, he did it all for his wifey and the Devil himself couldn’t stop him from reaching his goal.
Joshua da MC 23 yrs old Italian/Jamaican descent from Broward County Fl. I've been a student of Hip-Hop for as long as I can remember, and writing in general. I love that rap has become a blend of all of these different styles, and that more and more we're seeing fans of rock, pop, R&B, etc. become artists that further diversify the brand. And I just want my chance to be one of those pioneers—if not of Hip-Hop in-general, then our new school, and music as a whole. This Art-form is my passion; I hope I can share that energy that drives me with others.
This ain't just another EP.. this is a movement! An event of epic new wave hiphop, soul and alternative R&B music on display! Splash!! Fall in... XNDRSOUND and beatmaker, Humbeats mean business on a well-thought out, creative, work of art, that stands out within only 4 tracks. Read more in the press release below and follow the movement asap.
"October's Eve is the second EP by artist XNDRSOUND. The follow-up to his debut EP September is a 4-track project produced exclusively by Humbeats. XNDRSOUND brings a mix of dark, R&B, down-tempo tracks and a creates a mood throughout the project. Sticking to the theme of autumn and his breakout single Paranormal, the project starts with Very Scary a brief two minute intro about XNDR's experience with the energy of other artists in the scene. 95 is a single style track with is uptempo and a bit out of character but provides a necessary boost in energy to an otherwise mellow project. Cnflctd is an introspective R&B where XNDR questions a relationship he once had that he was sure to last that has now fallen into disarray. Takeoff, the outro looks to solidify XNDR's confidence in himself and his team."
They say revenge is a dish best served cold. For 23 year old super talent Pariyah, Karma is best served through a couple of sixteens and a hook. The Norfolk, Virginia do it youself native wears many hats to see his vision through. He is the label head at Langley Jourdain Records which he established in 2017. The self described loner and outcast, hence the name, also engineers and produces his own work, so saying the multi talented rapper has an ear for music is an understatement.
Pariyah is back this time around with his new single "Karma" and he is speaking to anyone who has gone through a bitter break up. The up tempo, guitar laced, oh how the tables have turned anthem is reminiscent of Kanye West in the 808 and Heartbreak days, gives off a great vibe as you listen and get over your former love. The seven year vet shows that what goes around truly comes back around and a little heartache can bring out much greatness in you.
"The Delorean" explains going back to make correct foward movement. Looking back on the origins of his rap style & how everything came to fruition plus, it's a great play on words. The sound alone takes you back to the foundation of Hip-Hop. Produced by CassoBeats (@cassobeats), Alex Anonny will be dropping his 1st EP titled, "Don't Miss The Bus" this summer! This is for Hip Hop!

Florida has been a hot bed for hip hop talent recently, led by Kodak Black and XXXTentacíon. Since, we've seen a number of new artists emerge out of south Florida and may be looking at the next phenomenon. KV Infinity, sliding onto the music scene out of Hallandale, Fla. is a six member group(LimboKV, LunaryKV, ManiiKV, NintiKV, VozziKV, and YoungkikeKV) looking to take the game by storm with their new single "Candy." The song has a nice jazzy groove, but still knocks coming through your speakers that will have your head bobbing uncontrollably. The track, which was produced by the groups own ManiiKV also has a catchy hook that you'll find yourself singing hours after the is over. KV Infinity's unity and crew love for one another puts me in the mind of other mega groups like ASAP Mob and Odd Future. "Candy" is the first single off of their upcoming mixtape, INFINITY and if it is any indication of what we can expect from this squad, I'd imagine they will develop a cult core like the aforementioned groups in no time.
Bigg’s new album “All Out” is coming in hot with more than 27 tracks from this self-produced Vietnamese artist. I must admit that the intro will not only capture your admiration but you’ll instantly recognize the suave persona and easy-going flow that Bigg is offering. There’s a particular track that will probably get Bigg finessing to the top charts, and that’s “Kanye East” the smooth yet seductive hard beats compliment the elaborate rhyming style. It’s hard to believe that this is the first album that Bigg has produced. This is because of the crazy never-seen-before ingenuity and lyrical capabilities. Bigg plans to unleash the full album to all streaming platform on 10/04/2018. In the meantime, you don’t want to miss out on his Official Music Video for one of his single "Lowkey Stunning" as we anticipate the release. This album is authentic and it blends very well with the flawless production of Rap/EDM/Hip Hop recording artist & music producer, Bigg. Straight Outta Hai Noi in Vietnam, the shocking lyrical imagery that this guy possesses is impressive.

Up and coming musician Choze releases a new visual “Nothing to Lose” that
provides a powerful message detailing the systematic society we are simply
‘surviving in’. Choze has a very raw yet honest standpoint on his feelings towards
how we are educated from an early age that disables us to ever have enough
understanding on how or what to do in our future to succeed.
This track really does make you think about how much pressure is put on to us to become something without much knowledge or advice given from those whom we trust or who should be offering the help we need to do better; parents, teachers, celebrities. “Living in these streets, we ain’t got nothing to lose” a line repeated throughout the song. This line is very much relevant and relatable to a lot of people who are born directly into inner-city areas with nothing but hunger whether that’s to feed themselves or their family. The circumstances we are given doesn’t allow us to fear what we could possibly lose because there was nothing given to us in the first instance.
Choze is speaking for the people in fighting against politics, injustice and societies expectations that are shoved on to a community to conform and adjust to. He makes it apparent that he wants to be a voice for everyone that has ever suffered under any of these constructions built. Choze wants to show that there is hope out of what we have been made to believe our entire life’s. He details several different scenarios where we as people are driven to commit crimes and where this mentality is rooted, from selling drugs to rioting.
