Hoodtrophy Bino and Lefty Gunplay release their new single and music video "123". Their new collaboration sends out a powerful message to the world - never underestimate.
In an industry that exploits street life, “123” stands out for its honesty. It proves that being from the streets doesn’t mean being blind to the world. Bino adds, “ '123', the title of the song, is a play on words. People think we’re slow. We’re showing we can count to three. We’re smarter than you think – we’re in your face. We play dumb but we’re smart.”Behind the verses, "123" has a melodic backdrop that blends delicate guitar strums with hard-hitting percussion, for a juxtaposition that mirrors the song’s emotional duality.
On the collaboration with Lefty Gunplay, Bino adds, “Lefty is one of those ese’s in the city that CBFW. I love him like a brother. Me and him share a lot of the same similarities. He’s good hearted; a real one. He doesn’t fake the love or the hate. If he don’t f with you, then he don’t f with you. I took him to his first courtside NBA game. We hang out together. We try to break that division between the Hispanics and Blacks.”
Da Foundation has recently performed at the Levono Center in Raleigh, NC. but the movement will not stop there. Continuing their journey, Da Foundation, recently released their album Sabbat Noir on May 20, 2025. Da Foundation continues to create music that is relatable, as they speak from existing moments as well as the past.
"Lust Paradise is a product of relief. It also can be a product of accountability. We often associate lust with love or love with lust and never hold ourselves accountable to the outcome...." Casso stated during the post album review of Sabbat Noir. "It’s hard to single out a track and say it has the most impact when each song represents something unique. In a space where we focus on substance in our music each song has its own impact equally."
Da Foundation speaks from the heart when they are in the music studio, which is why whenever these artists have a chance to perform on stage, they leave the crowd applaud.
