Baton Rouge, Louisiana rap artist Young Bleed returns with his latest album titled Wut' Uh' Life, via Trap Door Entertainment. The album serves as the eighth studio release since his 1998 breakout debut, My Balls and My Word, on No Limit Records. The title track kicks things off in the right direction as Bleed’s signature laid-back flow pairs well with the booming production, letting long-time fans and newcomers know that he’s still standing strong. Playing with different styles throughout Wut’ Uh’ Life, the seasoned emcee doesn’t hesitate to deliver rapid-fire bars on tracks like “Wet” but also knows when to slow it down like on “Say Dat’ Den” and “Luv Luv Luv.” On the dope posse cut “Hard Work Pays Off,” Bleed isn’t afraid to share the mic with a slew of artists such as Rush 1K, Tha Homie Jai, Chucky Workclothes, Skye Pachino, and Omega Legacy. Other featured guests on the album include Ty’gee Ramon, Big Tray Deee, Celly Cel, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Pastor Troy, Mers, and Marcus Kelly. Tracks worth mentioning goes to the introspective, bass-heavy “Soul Of Uh’ Mane” and the soulful, nostalgic “Wut’ Uh’ Life (Da Prequel).” Definitely worth checking out, stream Young Bleed’s Wut’ Uh’ Life on Spotify today.
