"Freedom to sit down. Freedom to stand"
Hiphop artist, REVOLUTION, is currently sparking positive conversations all over America about social issues we are facing today. With his new song "Kaepernick(Damn)" REVOLUTION is shedding great light on a few arguments about the San Francisco QB who refuses to stand during the pledge of allegiance. His point of view is that's what makes America a dope place to be, because we have the right to take a stand in our own creative way. REVOLUTION also has choice words for people in this country who have spoken out against Kaepernick's movement. He raps "Trump has 5 babies with 3 different wives, who the fuck are you to preach about lives".
Aside from how powerful the content is, the song overall is very intriguing. REVOLUTION has an ability to deliver deep content while using unique rhyme patterns over a head knocker of a beat! If you agree with his stance REVOLUTION asks you to take action. He says, "This song is to symbolize freedom to sit or stand or do whatever you'd like in America using Collin Kaepernicks peaceful protest as example and here is my Facebook page".
