Kevin Ross’ acoustic take on “Don’t Pretend” was filmed in a dreamy, soft-hued bedroom under the sparkle of a big city skyline. Lit in a violet glow of muted elegance, Kevin Ross stuns his audience with a stripped-down version of his earth-shaking closing track. The acoustic version of “Don’t Pretend” features a saccharine guitar riff that mingles with Kevin Ross’ uncut vocal, creating an ambiance of warmth and an intrinsic feel of acceptance; it’s like you're right there in the room with him. “Don’t Pretend” recalls memories Ross holds sacred and the acoustic version allows Kevin Ross to dive in even deeper. 

Midnight Microdose Vol. 1 is his latest release under his artist owned label Art Society Music Group (AMG) / EMPIRE, preceding his upcoming Vol. 2 and full-length. The EP includes singles "Show & Prove" and record-breaking song "Look My Way", which is currently climbing at #10 on Billboard's Adult R&B Airplay Chart, #1 on Sirius XM's Heart & Soul and has received acclaim from Vibe, Rated R&B, Lyrical Lemonade, Spotify's NMF, R&B Weekly, Apple's Brown Sugar amongst many others.
