A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Still Matthews cut his teeth in the industry as a young producer after dropping out of high school and running away from home at the age of 16 to pursue a career in music. Combining influence from modern R&B artists such as The Weekend, Post Malone and 6LACK with musical elements drawn from Johnny Cash, Nirvana and Kings of Leon resulted in Still's refreshing yet somehow familiar style of alternative R&B.
Unlike most artists that require a machine to make a record, Still, a Billboard credited producer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist, carefully crafted a sound that uniquely his own by producing, mixing and mastering each song in his private study that he calls 'The Boneyard'.
