Los Angeles, California’s Marcus Singleton has released his second Lo-FI album, an album which blends together many elements to create a sound that is entirely unique, though rooted in the rich musical history of those who experimented with sounds of the past. With the LP, Marcus aims to highlight both the metaphorical and literal interpretations of jazz, applying the concepts of attraction and reaction to creativity and artistry. “Music is something that can not be inhibited,” explains Marcus.

This can be attributed to Marcus Singleton’s masterful skill as a music producer. Los Angeles Hip-Hop Soul artist Marcus Singleton is a multi-faceted musician whose latest album, ALL IN THE DETAILS, showcases the multi-genre fluency with which he was raised. As the son of a professional touring guitarist, Marcus was exposed to everything from Jazz Fusion to Gospel and Reggae at a young age. Developing an ear for live instrumentation as a child, he idolizes the dynamism of artists like Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, and Earth, Wind & Fire - artists whose musical fingerprints can be found in Marcus’ own work. Far from referential, Marcus’ approach to production is as innovative as it is nostalgic, with live flute, saxophone, violin, bass, guitar, and keyboards merging with Hip-Hop Soul beats. Leonardo Prakash is a French-Mexican musician classically trained in his youth in guitar and sitar, and later in harp, flute, and jarana jarocha.  His unique musical voice has transcended his traditional foundations.  His music experimentis with the fusion of the intrinsic sounds of these instruments into classic rock and roll, flamenco, Indian raag, and the folk music of Latin America, Turkey, Japan, the Middle Eastern and East Africa.

Prakash is the proud recipient of the FONCA (Mexico’s National endowment fund for culture and the arts).  Throughout the years, Prakash has collaborated on a wide array of musical projects and has toured in Europe, the US, Canada and Mexico. His collaborations span many genres with artists such as Bogdan Djukic, Jesus Mejía, Mitote Jazz, Jorge Pardo, Historias de Radne Krishna, Mar De Leva, Ganabia, Elamir, Mirabai Ceiba, Jai-Jadeesh, and Snatam Kaur, amongst others.

Most will hear a trap beat and think it’s just another trap song but if you actually pay attention... You could learn a thing or two about financial freedom. "Ya'll just don't know what I've been from, Now I get checks and I dip son, I got that multiple income, I need a mill before I get done" - AJ Reynolds Says it all. The record is purely for the people that want to do something with their lives or for the people that need that extra boost to get up and actually go start doing something. The difference between going to get a job and actually trying to start a small business or a side hustle that breaks financial freedom is a huge eye opener after listening to this record. It’s just more vibe than some "Preach in your face" kind of song.

Peia’s voice dances nimbly from 17th century Gaelic laments to Bulgarian mountain calls and beyond.
