Jai-Jagdeesh releases her new album, ‘From Dust’  today through Spirit Voyage Records. This heart wrenching journey of an album shares the keening grief and shouts of joy that come with pulling together a life from broken pieces.  Jai-Jagdeesh allows the layers of reality and liminal space to intermingle in the songs on this album.  She explores the question of what is to be human amidst betrayal on her most daring and introspective project to date. 

Says Jai-Jagdeesh, “My heart wasn’t whole enough to be able to do anything more than refract little bits of light, a little beam from each piece of itself, all of which was then lovingly wrapped up in the beautiful sonic spaces created by my musical friends. The comedian, producer, and TV personality, best known for Urban Eats & Treats and Wild 'N Out, is thrilled to announce the first five dates for his upcoming Fall Back in Love Comedy & Music Jam tour kicking off in Dallas on Friday, February, 24th, with confirmed stops in Houston, Detroit, New Orleans, and San Francisco.

 

The stellar musical lineup for the Fall Back in Love Comedy & Music Jam features R&B SuperstarsTrey Songz, Mario, Jacquees, Lil Duval, and August Alsina. Recently Rip Micheals made history again, selling out Madison Square Garden as a producer and promoter in only three weeks with a one-night production of Wild ‘N Out Live on December 1, 2022. Rip Micheals is the only event producer to produce three different events at three New York City arenas in the same year: April Fools Comedy Jam at Barclays Center in April 2022, Fall Back in Love Comedy & Music Jam at UBS Arena in September 2022, and Wild ‘N Out Live at Madison Square Garden in December 2022.

 

Previously, Rip Micheals was the Supervising Comedy Producer on the daytime talk show “Nick Cannon” on FOX. Currently, Rip can be seen hosting and starring in his own show, Urban Eats & Treats featuring appearances by Shaquille O’Neal, Tamar Braxton, DJ Envy, Russell Peters, Deon Cole and more. Urban Eats & Treats is distributed by HARTBEAT Studios and is now streaming in over 100 million homes via Pluto, Tubi, Roku, Peacock, and more.

Up-and-coming artist, Rumz, has released his latest album "Hear Me Now", a compilation of tracks he created between 2016 and 2020. The album serves as a representation of his personal journey as an artist, as well as his growth and evolution in terms of sound and style. The album title, "Hear Me Now", speaks to the artist's desire to be heard and recognized by the world.

Throughout the creative process, Rumz faced two major challenges: the overall structure of the album and writer's block. He eventually overcame these challenges by embracing his constantly evolving sound and structure, resulting in an album that showcases both the old and new versions of himself.

The album's lyrics reflect themes of growth, with standout tracks "They Said" and "Therapy" encapsulating this idea. "They Said" speaks to overcoming doubters and non-believers, while "Therapy" explores the artist's journey of self-discovery.

The 23-year-old Richmond rapper breaks silence as he plans to make his debut into the music industry blazing hot! Starting in 2013, Rose was 13 years old as he began playfully rapping over random beats. The next year, he decided to take things up a notch by writing and recording songs on his iPhone 4s. As he improved massively during that year, he got himself into rap battles so he can put his skills to the test. In 2016, he discontinued doing rap battles to become a recording artist. During that year he was a full-time basketball player and also, one of the high hope favorites in his hometown until he had a life changing situation that almost cost his life. Rose received his first ever cut from basketball after his long years of playing for numerous teams including AAU basketball going into varsity as junior. Rose said, “It felt like my life just ended badly. That entire day I couldn’t hold my tears back. I couldn’t eat nor sleep. Everyone was shocked and angry about the situation. The only thing I had on my mind was suicide until I heard a voice in my head. It told me start rapping.” His first official studio song was based off of the entire incident expressing himself with full anger. After relieving himself from basketball, he began to put his full effort into music. From 2016 to 2023 he recorded over 1,000s of songs and released 22 projects including 8 mixtapes, 7 EPs, & 7 albums. During the years of his hard work, he landed some distribution deals with Bentley Records & took some advice from people in the industry. It seems like he’s on track and soon to be the next upcoming artist in a short amount of time.
