Honduran band LELOUCH consists of members Arizona (Singer) , SALO (Singer), santii (Singer and Producer), and Vill3da (Singer). The band was formed at the beginning of the year 2022, and the guys quickly managed to create their own style of music thanks to their unique sound. The band has released two projects in the past, “V” which was their debut single and “S.A.B.S” which served as their follow up.
Their debut album "THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LELOUCH" might just seem like the debut project of another indie band from Honduras on the outside, but when wrapped with all that this album presents, this mentality will quickly change. "THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LELOUCH" is a compilation of songs very different from what the Honduran music scene is used to, and maybe not only Honduras, but rather the whole world.
In this project we have taken risks, taken paths and decisions that an ordinary band simply would not take, once again showing why we are not just "another band" and because we are "LELOUCH." The road has not been as easy as it seems, but it has been worth it. The effort and passion can be noticed in each song and section of the project, and although we may face a difficult audience, we are 100% sure that one day they will come to appreciate this album for what it really is.

In 2021 and 2022, he created a series of musical projects born from his own deeply personal human experience of joy and sorrow as a process of healing after the death of his newborn son. He also produced the score for the film AWAKEN, directed by Bob Degus.

Kalpee and fellow Caribbean musicians Rys Thompson and Kwami Morrison lit up the stage at Music Matters Live in Singapore. Island Wave is Kalpee’s label dedicated to highlighting the music of Caribbean artists on a global scale. Through the creation of Caribbean stages at music festivals such as SXSW and Music Matters, funded travel opportunities for Caribbean artists, and awareness campaigns, Kalpee hopes to bring the music of the West Indies to the forefront of the international music scene.
Kalpee’s recent performance at Music Matters in Singapore showcases the joyful, energetic, celebration that always occurs when Island Wave comes through. The recorded set captures Kalpee dancing through the audience, cheering on his electric guitarist Kwami, and offering up inspirational words of wisdom to the crowd in between tracks. Kalpee magnetizes the room with his unreleased, cathartic new single “Breathe” at the center of his set. He engages the audience by taking a deep breath together followed by a mesmerizing guitar solo from Kwami Morrison. You'd think being a musician in 2022 would be easy with all the technology artist have access to. Truth of the matter is, it's more difficult now than ever before. Being an artist takes sacrifice, commitment, and hard work. “Urban” music more specifically, hip hop is a genre of art that reflects particularly, real-life community-based struggles for a specific group of people (the have-nots.) Additionally, I’m from a city not particularly known AT ALL for contributing to the culture of hip hop, so against all odds, no real guarantees, just the love for the music, you get Kadiz, aka Fresh Wes aka "The Heart of the City."
Born and Raised in Columbus, OH, however, attributing my name sake from the city of my late grandmother (Cadiz, Ohio.) I’ve been singing and rapping (publicly) since the tender age of seven in church and community choirs. Shortly after that, I began to perform in local talent shows, with varies groups, never winning, not even once, lol. I picked up playing the piano and other instruments at Fort Hayes (career center) around sixteen years old, which added another dimension to my gift and performance, captivating audiences ever since. I pull inspiration from virtually anywhere, However, listening to artist like Jay-Z, Tupac, Nas, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Dr Dre etc. Really gets the creative juices flowing. For me, the goal is always to provide heartfelt lyrics put together over a variety of soulful sounding production, a combination that I like to refer to as "Street Soul."
The first "real' project I released, was released through an indie based company named Deka Records, the project was called "Suitcase of Memories" it was released mid-2010, and since then I've been releasing music on a regular bases, notably my personal favorite released in 2020, "Pieces of my Soul" up until that point, my life had me far out in the deep, because of that, “Pieces” turned out to be my most honest piece of work to date. On the business side of things, I've been building both a viral and organic fanbase across all social media, through hard work and paid promotions. The thing that makes me most proud is my resilience, there's no promises in this business so you really have to love it to keep going.
